Modern Takes on a Classic

It’s always exciting to see what the stylists at WIP-Hairport Salon, in Lisbon, are up to. Usually specializing in avant guarde originals, it’s interesting to see their modern twists on a classic, the bob.

The Classic Bob

The ‘classic bob’ is the latest haircut I’ve been training on at Ten Pachi. I have done many bobs but Dot’s method is by far the most challenging method I have learned and the results are absolutely stunning.  I wont bore you with the technicalities, but precision, incredible attention to detail and visual symmetry are the most important aspects of this haircut. The design of it looks simple, yet its sneaky complexity is what makes the bob my absolute favorite haircut.

Did I Tell You That I Got A Job????

Yes! I’m working at an awesome salon in the U-district, Ten Pachi Modern Salon.

I absolutely love it.  I’ll be training for 6 months before I can do hair on the floor. I’ll need lots and lots of models during this period to demonstrate that I am learning the techniques. Contact me if you want to be a model–it’s a free service!
